DELANEY OROZCO

SENIOR ADVISOR, CFP®

MY FINANCIAL SERVICES CAREER BEGAN IN 2015

I have always had a passion for coaching others. Whether that be in sports or on their financial wellbeing, I love being someone that people can go to for advice and help through times of adversity or times of joy. I began as a mathematics major at VT and I had planned to teach high school calculus and coach volleyball. As a junior, I decided I may want to do something different than teach. I knew I could always coach as a hobby, but I started my search for a career where I could help people with something that always seemed like a struggle for my own family growing up: the concept of money.

I began in the financial services industry in 2015 as an Associate Advisor. Over my career, I have worked on being able to find the intersection of the day-to-day processes of the financial world and the bigger picture planning to help clients achieve their Private Vista. I also deeply enjoy developing a guide for clients to help them navigate their psychology behind finance and the numbers they see on the page.

MY PRIVATE VISTA

My private vista will always consist of family and volleyball! As much as I love living in Chicago, having the opportunity to go back home to Louisiana is a huge part of my Private Vista. New Orleans will always have a place in my heart: the food, the music, and, of course, the Southern Hospitality. I am greatly looking forward to bringing my daughter, Mila, to her first Mardi Gras.

Most weekends this summer, you will find my family out at the beach playing volleyball and soaking in the sun. Our Private Vista is to continue to play as long as possible and to hopefully watch our daughter grow to love the game as much as we do.
