MY FINANCIAL SERVICES CAREER BEGAN IN 1984
Now at almost 40 years into my career, I have the luxury of looking backwards and reflecting on the journey I have been on. Back in 1984, I didn’t know what a fiduciary was or what a financial planner did. What I did know was I wanted to help people with their finances and achieving their goals in life. I wanted to do it in a way that I wasn’t selling them a product but rather walking side by side with them as they moved towards their dreams. I have been with them in moments of great joy and cried with them during their times of sadness. I have taught and educated them, but more importantly, I have been taught and learned from them as well.
MY PRIVATE VISTA
As I have worked with clients thru the years and asked them what they are trying to achieve, it occurred to me that I should be asking the same questions for myself. I know I don’t have all the answers to that question at this point, but I do know the following. I want to have purpose and meaning in my life; I want to be a lifelong learner that is curious about the world and the people who live in it. I want to be surrounded by people who are interested in life and exploring things that are enriching. While I want to have fun in life, I also want to feel I have been more of a giving and sharing person. I am excited for the journey that lies ahead!
