MY FINANCIAL SERVICES CAREER BEGAN IN 1995

In 1995 I joined the financial planning field, after many years at both the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, working as a Senior Vice President of Risk Management for Primary Securities Dealers both Domestic and International. As a Senior Advisor with over 20 years of experience, it gives me great satisfaction working directly with family-owned businesses, senior executives, and other professionals in helping them achieve their objectives as well as seeing the direct benefits of our work together. I have done a lot of work with multi-generational families, complex estate planning strategies and philanthropic planning for clients and their families. I am proud to say our work has resulted in tax savings for clients as well as many gifts to non-profits.

MY PRIVATE VISTA

I have been married close to 40 years to my wife Jenny, and we have two children and one granddaughter. I have been fortunate to be able to see life from a family perspective. My wife is a Director of Development for The Learning Bridge Early Childcare Center in Evanston. My daughter also resides in Evanston, managing a popular clothing store for a national chain based out of California, while my son lives in Normal, Illinois, and works for State Farm. In addition to my work, I enjoy reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, travel and sports.

Over the years I have donated my time and skill set to several organizations, including serving as President of the Timber Ridge Magnet School PTA, President of The Dawn Schuman Institute for Jewish Education, a Board Member of the Barbereaux School, and founding The Chicagoland Organization for Marine Families and Friends. My current involvement is with the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club as the Chair of Sponsorship/Planned Giving and a Member of the Board.
